Planning opportunities for faculty members to benefit from research sabbaticals and study opportunities inside and outside the country in accordance with approved regulations.
Preparing the university’s research plan, defining research objectives and priorities within mid‑term and long‑term programs, and supporting the establishment of incubators, entrepreneurship centers, and science and technology parks for presentation in the university’s specialized research councils.
Reviewing and evaluating the university’s activities within the framework of national growth and development programs based on the goals of the national vision document, development plans, and the Comprehensive Scientific Map of the country in the higher education sector, for submission to the Executive Board.
Monitoring and supervising the university’s educational, research, and technology processes according to the established academic calendar and the timelines specified in approved research project proposals.
Managing and supervising the proper implementation of all university educational and research policies, regulations, and processes in accordance with applicable laws, approvals, regulations, and executive bylaws, with an emphasis on expanding graduate programs and developing research and technology activities at the university.
Supervising the proper implementation of educational programs, activities, and specialized courses of each faculty, evaluating them, and reporting the results to the President of the University.
